 Annabelle Farrell is the head cheerleader for the Washington Sentinels. When the players strike, so do a number of the cheerleaders, leaving Annabelle to hold auditions for replacement cheerleaders along with the replacement players. Of the hundreds she auditions, she narrows her search to two women, Heather and Dawn, the only ones that show any promise and actually have dancing experience. With the auditions over, Annabelle comments on Heather's resume, impressed by her having played in Cats on Broadway. Heather corrects her, explaining rather that she starred in "Pussycats! — You know the club next to the airport?" Desperate to replace her cheerleaders, Annabelle hires Heather and Dawn, asking them if perhaps they have any additional friends down at the club that might be interested in some work. Heather and Dawn come through, bringing along a number of women from their previous job...moonlighting as exotic dancers. |
